Question by Michael T: why did they not pick joel mchale over jimmy fallon to replace conan?
Joel Mchale hosts the soup on E and he is 20 times funnier than jimmy in my opinion. Jimmy is not terrible but Joel would have been the better choice. did they even ask him?

I have no idea, but I’m guessing that a big part of it is that viewers of NBC might already familiar with Jimmy Fallon because of his work on SNL.
