I’m watching jimmy fallon premiere, and in the beginning sketch, he said to conan, “aren’t you going to be getting jay’s dressing room?” and conan answered, “uh no.” and jimmy said, “ah. i heard about that.”
does this mean that conan isn’t taking over for jay leno anymore?
do they mean that he wont be getting jays dressing room since jay is staying in the building to do his half hour show that airs at 10?

Conan is definitely taking over. I’m guessing it was a self-deprecating joke on Conan’s part that Conan doesn’t get the ‘perks’ that Jay Leno does….
