Question by Rachel Bz.: Swan recycling Smashing Pumpkins band members?
SO, I’m watching some SNL reruns and Ray Romano introduces a band called Swan. The lead singer looks and sounds a lot like Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins. Jimmy Fallon was still on the show, but they made referrences to the Iraq war, so I’m guessing the show is at least as recent as 2002. Did Billy start a new band in the absence of the Pumpkins? I’m not a fan, per se, as in, I don’t pay much attention to the goings on of the band. Just curious whether or not there was a connection or I was just going nuts. Thanks for reading! 🙂

Its not Swan, its Zwan, and yes, its led by Billy Corgan. But that was a couple years ago, and i think they only made one album.
It was ok.
