Seems like in the last week Conan has been rocking the house. Too bad he has to go.
What bothers me is that if Leno is going to go back to the Tonight Show, why doesn’t Conan go back to Late Night and oust Fallon? Fallon must be related to some big shot at NBC.
Plus, the first news coverage of the whole thing said that having Leno at 10pm made everyone go to sleep afterward and no one ws watching the News. This seemed to be the main issue when it all started.
Should Conan have shut up and let NBC do what they wanted, thereby possibly guaranteeing his placement afterward? And since Conan CAME from the late night slot after midnight what is so terribly wrong with him going back there?
But I’m glad they all made a big deal out of it and embarrassed NBC … it made Leno AND Conan so much better … too bad they couldn’t keep it up and just stay where they were and make NBC figure out a way to make the News more interesting so that people did not go to sleep … perhaps put Brian Williams on at 11pm.

His ratings suck because he sucks. He’s boring. He was not a big deal when he started, and people were upset that of the many choices, it had to be Jay Leno. That was twenty years ago. Come on already! Conan is The man, and even David Letterman can pull it off every once in a while when he’s sneaked something to drink!
