He didn’t want to over-stay his time with “Saturday Night Live” though he did so.

The following is from an interview of Mister Fallon:

“Well, I’d been on the show for six years, and that was three years longer that I planned. Three years always seemed better. I think John Belushi only did three, yeah? I don’t want to be the guy who stays at the party too long. Besides, you can always come back as an alumni. Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase would visit the show occasionally, and they’re very cool.
