Joel Mchale hosts the soup on E and he is 2000 times funnier than jimmy in my opinion. Jimmy is not terrible but Joel would have been the better choice. did they even ask him, or think about it? he is already on a show called, ” community” so why not. Man that guy is funny he needs a talk show!

I never thought of that, but you are 100% right. I haven’t seen community, but I do watch The Soup and Joel McHale is one of the funniest hosts I have ever seen. They probably put Jimmy Falon just because more people would recognize him, but he is nowhere near as funny as McHale.

I have no idea, but I’m guessing that a big part of it is that viewers of NBC might already familiar with Jimmy Fallon because of his work on SNL.
