Jimmy's been back with new shows this week, after a week of reruns. Tonight, in addition to guests Ed Norton and Hulk Hogan, Mr. Fallon welcomes pop parodist "Weird Al" Yankovic to the show as his musical guest.
Al normally performs one his latest parodies when he appears on late night shows like this. His last major late night appearance was performing "White 'N Nerdy" on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno almost exactly three years ago (on November 2nd, 2006). But Al's most recent parody is actually a bit old at this point: "Whatever You Like" (a TI parody) was released more than a year ago. Will Al play one of his more recent original releases from his "Internet Leaks" EP? Or a classic parody from the vault?
Tune in tonight to find out!

Tonight, Monty Python's crew will be Jimmy's guests on Late Night. The evening should be a blast!
Earlier today, Jimmy tweeted a picture of Eric Idle, reportedly rehearsing a rendition of "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" with The Roots. Sounds amazing!

Last night, They Might Be Giants performed on Late Night. You can watch the performance here.
Tonight, Jimmy welcomes yet another SNL alum; this time, it's the incomparable Chevy Chase. Chevy's officially there to promote the TV show Community, but it stands to reason their shared SNL background might come up!

Jokes for Jimmy about David Letterman (from HireMeJimmyFallon.com)

Like any good late night talk show host, Jimmy will need to make a few jokes about David Letterman this evening. Here are a few suggestions from Hire Me, Jimmy Fallon!
• You know, before I got this job, or SNL, I always used to think to myself: Man, who do I gotta screw to get a job writing for David Letterman? Now I know!
• Some are wondering whether a Letterman sex tape might hit the Internet. Well let me just say this: There is a tape, and before Paul Schaffer saw it, he had hair.
• Of course, like any good late night host, Dave's made plenty of jokes about folks who've had run-ins with infidelity, like Governor Sanford or President Clinton. But the key difference is, those guys are politicians, and Dave — well, Dave bagged way hotter chicks.

David Letterman, sex, and extortion

Obviously, the big news in late night television this week isn't Jimmy Fallon himself, or even Jay Leno's mediocre successes in prime time. Instead, all eyes are on Jimmy's predecessor's predecessor — that is, the man who ran Late Night before Conan O'Brien: David Letterman.
Watch Dave acknowledge the extortion attempt, the grand jury hearing, the arrest, and of course his guilt in having affairs with various female staffers from last night's show.
